It has been some time since we issued a general update on where we are with the project. In the interim we have been making solid progress and have now raised just under £200,000. We have made an application for further funding to Sportscotland and are anticipating that we will receive a response from them in December this year and hope very much that it will be good news for the project.

Sportscotland have in fact been working with us on the design for the replacement pavilion and have made a number of suggestions that we have taken on board. A layout pan is attached to this blog.

Consequently we have taken the decision to move to tender stage and tender documents are in preparation at this time. While nothing is certain just now, we feel there is grounds for optimism and that the project is nearing completion and that the Moffat community and the Beechgrove Recreation Ground will have the new pavilion that is so badly needed.
